CRIMASA (Criaderos de Mariscos SA) began shrimp farming in July 1978 in the Balao canton, Guayas province. Initially founded by a group of private investors, the company is among the pioneers of shrimp farming in Ecuador. Its ponds feature the complete infrastructure to ensure the shrimp grow in optimal conditions.
